Episodes you log (time, severity, duration, symptoms, triggers, ear, notes, medication), the barometric pressure and weather captured at that time, an optional sleep figure read from Health, and the exercise sessions you complete. All of it is stored in the app's own container on your iPhone, and on your Apple Watch for episodes logged there.
Nothing is sent to us. There is no account, no server and no analytics or advertising library in the app.
Two Apple services are used on your behalf. When you log an episode with weather capture on, the app reads your location once and passes it to Apple's WeatherKit to fetch the current conditions. The location is not stored and the request carries no identifier for you. Purchases are handled by the App Store through StoreKit.
If you turn on sleep capture, Canalith reads sleep analysis samples from Health for the night before an episode and stores the total hours with that episode. It never writes to Health and never shares Health data with anyone.
The PDF and CSV are created on your device and handed to the iOS share sheet. Where they go after that is your choice.
Settings, Delete all diary data, removes every episode and session. Deleting the app removes its container.
